Campaign Overview
Weed Facts is a harm reduction campaign that emphasizes safe storage, dangers associated with driving under the influence of marijuana, and risks of adolescent use and use of marijuana while pregnant or breastfeeding.
The campaign, funded by the state’s Medical Marihuana Operation and Oversight grant, comes at a critical time in Michigan. A series of focus groups in Barry and Eaton counties confirmed the need for consistent, factual information regarding marijuana use.
