The Barry-Eaton District Health Department (BEDHD) offers a Certified Food Safety Manager Class that meets the Michigan Food Law requirements of having a certified manager at the food service establishment. The class is designed to be interactive through demonstrations; as well as group activities and discussions.

Registration

Due to a limited amount of class space, all class participants must pre-register and pay. To register for a class either drop off, mail-in, or fax the registration form to the Charlotte or Hastings office. Payment options: in person at either office location, a mailed check, or by calling in with a credit card.

Class, Study Book & Test: $134

Class & Test: $104

Test only: $80

Classes consist of 8 hours of instruction over two-half days (8 am - 12 noon). At the end of the second half-day of class, a certification exam will be administered. A government issued photo I.D. is required for taking the exam.
