Due to a limited amount of class space, all class participants must pre-register and pay. To register for a class either drop off, mail-in, or fax the registration form to the Charlotte or Hastings office. Payment options: in person at either office location, a mailed check, or by calling in a credit card number.
Classes consist of 8 hours of instruction over two-half days (8 am - 12 noon). At the end of the second half-day of class, a certification exam will be administered. A government issued photo I.D. is required for taking the exam.
If you have already completed a manager certification course through BEDHD and prefer not to have to take a class again, then you have the option of taking the class exam only. The cost of the exam is $69, and will be administered at 11:30 am on the second half-day of each scheduled class. In order to take the exam only, you will need to pre-register at least 14 days prior to the scheduled exam date. Upon request, exams can be made available in both Spanish and Chinese (Traditional and Mandarin).
