Facility Inspection Reports
Finding A Facility

There are three ways to search for a facility: By name, by name range (A-C, D-E, etc.) and/or by city. Simply find the facility, click on the name to highlight, and click on "get report".

Facility reports will include all reports that were generated for the facility in the past 13 months (except during the initial launching period, which only includes 7 months worth of inspections) and will be updated every 30 days.

Interpreting Inspection Reports

The inspection report will include the following:

Name of facility
Address
Inspection date
Type of inspection (i.e. routine, follow-up, enforcement follow-up)
Rule number and name
Evaluator's observations
If the violation was critical, what actions were taken to correct it

Right hand column:

Critical

If there is a "yes" next to "Critical", this means that the violation is considered to pose an increased risk for foodborne illness.
When possible, critical violations are to be corrected at the time of the inspection; otherwise they shall be corrected within 10 days of the inspection date.
If there is a "no" next to "Critical", the violation is considered non-critical and is subject to correction within a maximum of 90 days from the date cited.

Repeat
"Repeat Yes" indicates that the violation was observed and documented during the previous routine inspection, was corrected, and was found at the current routine inspection.
Corrected
"Corrected Yes" indicates the violation was corrected during the inspection.

Note: When interpreting a report, try not to focus on the number of violations cited, but on the violations themselves. Keeping in mind that critical violations are violations that may increase the risk for foodborne illness.
