There are a variety of local efforts to improve health for residents of Barry and Eaton Counties. BEDHD takes a range of roles in these organizations, ranging from leadership to support to staffing. As part of effective public health services to the community, we mobilize community partnerships and action to identify and solve health problems, by developing policies and plans that support individual and community health efforts. Often, this work happens in collaboration with others whose goals include health improvement.
