Location

Eaton Substance Abuse Program provides a continuum of outpatient care at the Barry Eaton District Health Department building, 1033 Health Care Drive, in Charlotte, Michigan. The building is located in the Eaton County Complex in the proximity of other county organizations including the 56-A District Court, 56th Circuit Court, Probation Offices, Eaton County Youth Facility, Family Independence Agency, Eaton County Jail, and Eaton Counseling Center. The office location has ample group and individual meeting rooms, and is fully handicapped accessible.

The program maintains regular business hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. excluding holidays. Regular business hours on Tuesday and Friday are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening sessions are scheduled by making an appointment during the regular business hours. The program provides services for clients on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The services are available to eligible clients in the region who are within commuting distance of the office location. Residents of Eaton County are considered to have priority for services, and can receive assistance with transportation through Eatran, the public transportation system.
